Roots Strategies' Deliah Bernard joined the National Association of Friendship Centres (NAFC) Youth Forum this week — a space where Indigenous youth from across the country gather to connect, build leadership, and shape the future of their communities.
The NAFC is a national organization representing over 100 Friendship Centres across Canada. These centres are vital hubs that provide culturally grounded programs and services to urban Indigenous people, fostering connection, support, and advocacy. Their Youth Forum is a powerful platform for Indigenous youth to share knowledge, strengthen networks, and speak truth to power.
